'turning for speed' sounds pretty good. it just needs the vocals now. the backing track is up on the myspace page...click here.
its almost complete..with the vocals making it my finest song ever..probably..maybe add some subtle strings in there towards the end...i think its going to work well as an album opener or closer.

what a horrible drunken face that is. story of the weekend though
sadly.
there was a little more to the weekend..we had a good practice
yesterday and got two rather good ideas onto tape. one makes me
feel like lou reed. hmm so yes..things there are looking good.
going for food in an hour..but will spend today trying different
mixes of what we did yesterday.
i may quit my job next month.

days like today are a pain.
days where i really need to get out..but my body refuses
to leave the house.
ill have some food, have a cigarette, a cup of tea, then
force myself out. even if its for something pointless.
oh its not all bad really.
ive realised recently that i have some amazing friends.
and that there is always a super day lingering behind a
messy few.
me and carlie should be having a get together tomorrow to
work on some songs. we are no longer 'royal broadcast' as
ive grown to hate the name, so we are now called 'mai 68'.
those of you with a slight knowledge of 20th century
european history will know more about the name, but in
truth - i just think it sounds nice and vague.
im going to drink my tea now, but i want to write some good
news on here soon. maybe sunday hey?

some really interesting new song ideas came through the past weekend.
ideas that could well be pretty damn good.
feeling rather terrible today though. im not sleeping/eating properly
again..but only a 3 day (well, night) week in work. lots of writing and
recording on the weekend. once ive sorted out the crap eating and non-
existant sleeping. hurrah.

rather well. long days spent discovering new places with good company.

thats the cover, the inside is a black and white band photo and the back of the (4 page) booklet thing is black with the tracklisting in white.
the back of the cd case is the same as the back of the cd booklet. the band name appears on the spine of the cd case.
sorry, i needed to write that somewhere.
i think i might be making sense a little these days.
